Edge Label Styling

The plate behind an edge label can be restyled, padded, rounded or removed. SVG cannot size a rectangle to the text inside it and measuring every label in the browser on every render would be far too costly, so the plate is sized from a character-weighted estimate - the padding controls are there to tune it for an unusual font.
